Ven, "The pearl of Øresund" is a small Swedish island in the Øresund strait, between Skane and Zealand. Ven has ferries to Landskrona, Helsingborg. Astronomer Tycho Brahe (1546–1601) built two observatories here, Uranienborg and Stjerneborg. The island is a popular tourist place, especially in summer.
Landskrona, The town by the water lies in the centre of the Öresund region. It is also close to three airports: Kastrup, Sturup and Ängelholm. In Landskrona it’s easy to be impressed by the glory of nature. A walk in the town takes you past exciting castles, idyllic fishing settlements and wonderful sandy beaches.
