Teckningsmuseet i Laholm
The Tecknings Museum is the only museum in Scandinavia dedicated to the art of drawing.  There is a high-quality, and ever growing collection of drawings by Swedish artists from the 1750's onward.

Hiking trail
The "Hallandsleden" trail runs along country lanes and small roads, and through unspoilt nature including beech forests and spruce forests. To the south, "Hallandsleden" trail merges with the "Skåneleden" trail, and with the "Bohusleden" trail to the north - giving the area a large range of hiking trails. There is accommodation along the Hallandsleden trail.

Fishing
Fishing is a popular activity in Laholm where you can enjoy river fishing, fly fishing and or fish in the sea. In Laholm you can experience fishing for salmon in the centre you can fish for salmon in the centre of town in Lagan River.

The various waterways are also popular for canoeing and kayaking.

Golf
There are two full length golf courses in Laholm - Laholms Golfklubb is an 18-hole golf course and Våxtorp is a 9-hole golf course in the south of Laholm. There is also two  Pay & Play golf courses with drivingrange at Mellbystrand and Skummeslöv.

Winter sport
When it snows in the area there are skiing possibilities on Hallandsåsen (Hallands Range).
