In Kungsbacka, in the north of the Halland region and about 30 minutes from Gothenburg, there is 80 kilometres of coastline for swimming, fishing, enjoying the natural environment and unique cultural experiences.

The North Sea Cycle Route runs along the coastline and the route is a unique way to see the area and there are many places to rent bicycles. You may find some interesting characters in one of the many historical fishing villages.

For those who enjoy shopping, Kungsbacka has Sweden's only designer outlet in west Sweden. Freeport has around 40 outlets that sell designer brands and there is a large children's activity centre in the shopping villiage.

Golf clubs around Kungsbacka: Klosterfjordens Golf Club, Kungsbacka Golf Club and Forsgårdens Golf Club are both championship courses with Forsgårdens having held numerous European Tour events.
